Who do you goto when everyone you love is gone or against you? Amy Rose, the pink hedgehog shoved her hands into the pockets of her blue denim shorts. She pulled her hooded sweatshirt tighter, the window started to blow and she wanted to hide her bruises. Bruises she had gotten from the man that was supposed to love her and cherish her. Knuckles would get it when Tails and Sonic returned but all she had to think about was the now, she kept on walking down the dirt road that lead deeper into the woods, the village she lived in was out in the middle of nowhere. That's so they didn't get botherd, and hopefully didn't get attacked by Robotnick.
"Your Crazy, Amy." She said to herself as she approached an old run down house. From the outside it looked like it was falling apart, she assumed it was pretty cozy inside of the house she looked over at the mailbox it was painted black and in Crimson read lettering it read 'Shadow' she grimmaced at the thought of needing his help she knew that he wouldn't give it to her. She gulped and turned and walked up the steps to Shadow's run down house.
She walked up onto the porch and she looked around. There were two rocking chairs and they were rocking back in forth as the wind blow, she walked up to the door and knocked on the door gentley, there was no answer. She knocked on the door again, again there was no answer. She knocked on the door a 3rd time and than the door slowly opened it was very creepy and than she walked into the house and there was no sign of Shadow. Should she be worried? As she walked into the living room the door slammed shut, it slammed loudly and it made her jump she didn't like loud noises.
"Who is it?" A low voice came from a chair. You couldn't see who it was, all you could see was the redness of his eyes. Amy knew that voice, it scared her she knew who it was. It was Shadow, ironicly he felt most comfortbale in the darkness that was the total oposite of Amy. When he spoke, a small smile spread acrossed Amy's face.
"I was kind of looking for Shadow." She said as she looked over at the chair. "Everything's been so hectic. I needed someone to talk to." She said as she sat down in the darkness, even if the figure in the chair wasn't Shadow he could sense something in her voice, something dark. She was hiding something.
"What do you want?" He asked, you could hear the harshness in his voice. He wasn't used to outside contact except from the pink hedgehog she was the last person he had expected to show up here. He blinked once. His eyes closed and he wasn't visible anymore.
"Someone to talk to." Amy Rose replied softly as she sat down on the floor, and pulled her knees into her chest and she began to rock back and forth softly, and tears poured from her eyes. She wasn't crying, but she couldn't hold it in anymore.
The tears escaped her eyes, and they streamed down her face. She rocked back and forth, she hoped the pain would go away just for a little while. she didn't like being in pain yet she stayed with someone that was hitting her, underneath the sweatshirt were bruises and they would tell the tale about what she was going through and how hard it was.
He looked on and he couldn't just sit there and watch her cry, not even him could be that cold. He sighed and walked over to a light switch and turned the lights back on, they flipped on and they were bright. The Black hedgehog with a redpin stripe was standing by the wall with the light switch on it.
"Wow.." Amy Rose said as she lifted her head from her knees and she looked around. It was a nice place, it was even clean. She hadn't seen anything like that a place being clean she figured that Shadow was built on Sonic's DNA so he should be as messy as Sonic.
